According to a new survey Brits spend more time on the sofa than they do at work. When I first read that, I have to say I was gobsmacked. I knew the stats would be high but now that high. The survey by Fusion Lifestyle – the registered charity dedicated to providing accessible and affordable fitness and leisure facilities to all – published the findings as part of the ‘Great Outdoors’ campaign in a push to get the nation outside and active.

So my quest for fitness took me to Base Jump Trampoline Park in Rayleigh Essex this week. I only wished I lived closer! Trampoline parks have been cropping up throughout the UK over the last few years and this is said to be one of the biggest in the south east.
