But now residents can flock to this 15 bedroom boutique hotel situated in Shropshire to lie horizontally in its brand spanking new spa. A first in the UK, this pre-manufactured modular SPAShell, was customised by Spa Creators and delivered in sections on seven lorries before being craned into place.

You are what you eat and it seems you are also what you apply to your body and face. “If you wouldn’t eat it don’t put it on your skin.” These were the wise words of our beauty therapist Frida who took us through a step-by-step body scrub and homemade facial making class at the luxury resort Capella Marigot Bay, St Lucia. And indeed all the ingredients laid out on the table in the tree house at the five star resort were easily recognisable as those commonly found in our kitchen cupboards.
