The 1800® Tequila – 1800 Hour mix (World Paloma Day) playlist is available to listen here:
How to make the 1800 Paloma
50ml 1800 Silver
15ml fresh lime juice
50ml pink grapefruit juice
1 tsp sugar
Top up with soda
Salt rim if preferred, juice the lime and grapefruit, shake the first four ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass. Top with soda and garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit.
The history of the Paloma is unknown, with no one certain who invented the cocktail or when it was created. The cocktail’s distinct flavour and use of fresh-made ingredients have made it Mexico’s most popular tequila cocktail. 1800 is the year the world’s first premium tequila, real tequila, was born. For more than two hundred years, 1800® has never wavered from its original formula and distillation process — producing a 100% agave, quality liquid each and every time.
So let’s raise our glasses to a Tequila filled evening. Dancing is optional of course. Cheers!
